Reimagining Switzerland's biggest bookstore chain. Exlibris' brand language is cold, sterile and impersonal, set in Switzerland's default colors—red and white. But books are not sterile, they tell stories and share ideas, they shape our minds and become part of our lives and bookshelves. The new exlibris brand language focusses on the physicality of books and the individuality of a bookshelf. The system is constructed from little moments that come together to form complete book case.

Logo. When I first looked at the original logo I noticed that the l, i and the ascender of the b looked like the back of books. I decided to turn the i upside down and give it a little push to create a moment on a bookshelf.
